2012 Barossa Valley Estate Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of black cherries and dark plums over some subtle liquorice and spicy toasty oak. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with generous ripe blackberry and dark plum flavours which are overlaid by toasty vanillin oak finishing with some liquorice and spice nuances. Slightly dryish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, subtle liquorice, toasty oak and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
