2012 Atze's Corner The Giant Durif

Magnificent super saturated inky black colour with very deep dark purple black hue. The nose presents pronounced ripe blackberry, morello cherry and liquorice aromas followed by some subtle vanillin oak and blackpepper. Big, rich and densely concentrated the palate boasts opulent liquorice and ripe blackberry flavours followed by some vanillin oak and blackpepper. Dryish solid tannins provide the structural framework and impart a chewy textural feel to the finish. Long liquorice, vanillin oak and blackpepper aftertaste.
