A rich, expressive and firmly structured Cabernet Sauvignon.
Matured for 18 months in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Showing very good intensity ripe blackcurrant aromas are followed by a hint of liquorice, black olives, bay leaf and spicy cedary tobacco end notes. Possessing excellent richness and concentration the palate features mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with dark mulberries and cedary tobacco characters over a backdrop of subtle black olives and spice. Good grip with fine grained, firmly structured tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrants, black olives, cedary tobacco and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
From the oldest vines on the estate's Langton Vineyard, matured in French oak for 18 months. Good hue and depth; this is unreservedly full-bodied, but retains juicy cassis/blackcurrant fruit held in a tight embrace of ripe tannins and quality oak. Great value. Drink by 2036.
