2011 Three Dark Horses Grenache

Aged in seasoned French oak. Deep dark red colour with crimson red hue. Lifted ripe raspberry notes emerge from the glass followed by a touch of liquorice, some confectionary and spice end notes. Medium weight the palate is dominated by ripe joosy dark raspberry flavours followed by a touch of earth finishing with a very spicy back palate. Soft very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black raspberry, light earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
