2011 Te Mata Estate Merlot Cabernets

Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits mulberry top notes followed by some earth, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate features ripe mulberry flavours intermixed with some cedary characters followed by light earth and spice on the back palate. Light elegant mouthfeel. Dry finish with very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, cedar and spice.
