2011 Schild Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red verging on brick red hue. The nose offers up scents of blackcurrant, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some cedary tobacco notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate with some cedary tobacco undertones and a spicy back palate. Slightly dryish but otherwise fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and spicy tobacco.

Cellar 3-4 years.
