2011 On the Wing Shiraz

Made by Tim McNeil from declassified fruit. Opaque inky black colour with a black tinged dark crimson red hue. Liquorice top notes emerge from the glass followed by dark chocolate and blackberry with some underlying vanillin cedar and spice end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses good richness with generous dark chocolate and blackberry flavours followed by some spicy vanillin oak. Soft very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
