2011 Olivier Leflaive Meursault Narvaux

Burgundy, FRANCE
$74. 99
Bottle
$899.88 Dozen

As the largest village in the Cote de Beaune, Meursault has a winemaking history dating back to Roman times. Often seen as the richest and most rounded of the main white appellations in Burgundy, there are still stylistic differences across the large area. Narvaux is high on the hillside and is seen to be much more flinty and mineral driven than wines lower on the slopes.

Other Reviews....
A deft touch of wood frames airy and cool floral, extract of pear and wet stone nuances. There is a beguiling textured to the much more mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that possess fine focus and detail on the delicious, complex, intense and lingering finish. Lovely.
