2011 Oakridge Blanc de Blancs

Aged on yeast lees for 52 months and disgorged in November 2015 with minimal dosage. Pours with a white frothy mousse that has excellent hold. Very pale straw base wine colour with an exceptionally fine and very persistent bead. Delicate pear aromas are laced with light toast and yeast lees characters followed by some citrus and oily baked bread end notes. Possessing a crisp refreshing finish flavours of pears and citrus are to the fore over traces of sherbet, subtle cashew and yeast lees. Aftertaste of fresh pears, citrus, yeast lees, light cashew and baked bread. A very fresh and refined sparkling.
