2011 Kooyong Meres Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with very light brick red tinged hue. The nose reveals aromas of dark cherries intermixed with some meatiness followed by a hint of anise and some spice end notes. Light weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries alongside some meaty characters followed by some toasty anise like qualities and spice. Very fine grained tannins with a dryish finish. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries and meatiness.
Cellar 3-4 years.
