100% Syrah. Opaque dark red black colour with a very dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of smoky scorched earth, leather, clove and pepper. Light to medium weight the palate has completely dried out and is devoid of any real fruit characters. It has flavours of smoky clove like characters, leather, scorched earth and spicy pepper. Dryish finish with chalky tannins. Short aftertaste of smoky clove, scorched earth and leather. Pass.

A 100% Syrah from Northern Rhone. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of black cherries, cloves and liquorice followed by some meaty pepper like characters. Elegant and medium weight the palate has flavours of black cherries, some dried meats, subtle earth and pepper. Dry finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, smoky dried meats and pepper.
Cellar 3-4 years (2016-2017).
