2011 Frogmore Creek Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a tinge of green around the edges and pale straw hue. The nose offers up scents of white peach and cashew as top notes followed by some toasty oak and subtle spicy butterscotch. Medium weight the palate sports a flavour profile of white peach, cashew and honeycomb followed by some subtle toasty oak. Good fresh acidity keeps the palate lively on the finish. Aftertaste of white peach, nutty hazelnut and subtle spicy toasty oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2013-2017).
