Semi translucent dark red colour with dark to brick red hue. The nose displays pronounced top notes of ripe dark plum and dark cherries with some underlying toasty oak, subtle earth and spice end notes. Light to medium weight the palate has ripe plump flavours of dark cherries and dark plums over a background of toasty oak and some gamey characters with a spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins and fleshy soft mouthfeel. Good depth and concentration with medium to long dark plum, light toasty oak and spicy game aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
