2011 Forester Estate Cabernet Merlot

Deep dark red black tinged colour with dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry intermixed with cedar overlaid by light bay leaf and some spicy cigar box end notes. Medium weight the palate features a savoury profile of mulberry and blackcurrant infused with bay leaf followed by spicy cedar. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of mulberry infused with hints of bay leaf, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
