2011 Escarpment Kupe Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour showing excellent depth with a bright crimson purple hue. The nose displays alluring aromas of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and some anise followed by some meaty cedar and spice. Rich and concentrated, yet light on its feet the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of dark cherries, anise, dark plum, subtle toasty oak and spice. Excellent power wave with very fine grained yet supportive tannin structure. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise, lightly toasted cedar, dried meats and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
