2011 Escarpment Kupe Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. On the nose ripe pear and peach notes intermingle as top notes followed by some cashew and light nougat. Medium bodied palate with ripe pear and citrus flavours over a background of cashew, light nougat and mineral. Elegantly textured. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of pear, cashew and mineral. A restrained elegant style of Chardonnay that will benefit from cellaring.
Cellar 5-6 years (2018-2019).
