2011 Dalrymple Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light red hue. The nose displays good intensity with lifted dark cherry aromas followed by some meatiness, a hint of anise and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied the palate is a little weightier and richer than the 2010 vintage. Excellent textural mouthfeel with flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark plum prevalent over some anise, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Very good power wave with long dark cherry, dark plum and spicy cedar aftertaste.

Cellar 4-5 years.
