2011 Collefrisio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Opaque black purple colour with a bright purple red hue. The nose displays lifted ripe dark cherry scents followed by some inkiness, earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is filled with fruity black cherry, inky earth like characters and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, pen ink, earth and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
