2011 Cape Mentelle Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with dark purple red hue. The nose is quite restrained with delicate scents of blackberry, liquorice and dried meats emerging followed by some blackpepper end notes. Very elegant and quite light the palate has flavours of blackberry, subtle liquorice, dried meats and pepper. It lacks depth and concentration. Fine grained dryish tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, dried meats, earth and spicy blackpepper.
