2011 Brick Kiln Shiraz

Matured for 21 months in predominately American oak hogsheads with 15% French oak. Totally opaque inky black core with deep crimson dark purple hue showing excellent depth. Nosing reveals a scented profile of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice and subtle toasty vanillin oak. Plushly textured the palate is filled with an abundance of rich ripe blackberry and dark plum flavours followed by some liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long sumptuous aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark plum, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2017-2018).
