2011 Bricco Maiolica Barbera d'Alba

Deep dark red black colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose reveals aromas of black cherries and liquorice over a background of earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries and subtle liquorice followed by some earth with a dry spicy finish. Chew tannins with aftertaste of dark cherries, earth and spice.
