2011 Bobbie Burns Shiraz

Deep dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose offers up very ripe dark cherry top notes along with some dark plum, earthy cedar and spice aromas. Medium weight with ripe dark cherry and dark plum flavours followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Quite elegant and light for a Bobbie Burns but that’s been a trait of the challenging 2011 vintage conditions in Rutherglen with some vineyards not releasing any wine at all. Soft fine grained tannins with moderate aftertaste of dark cherries, earthy cedar and spice.
