Semi translucent hazy dark red colour with very light brick red hue. The nose presents aromas of interlocking sour and dark cherries followed by hints of stalk, meaty earth like characters and spice. Light in body the palate has flavours of cherries and sour cherries followed by some subtle meaty characters and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of sour cherries, subtle meatiness and spice.

While the colour is very light, the hue is bright, still red (with no bricking); the bouquet is as fragrant as the colour suggests, but the palate has streaks of mint and green herb flashing through the red cherry fruits. On retasting, the red fruits held sway.
