2011 Babich Winemaker's Reserve Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with transparent dark crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherries are followed by some game like qualities, a hint of anise, toasty cedar and spice. The palate possesses plenty of richness with a beautiful supplely textured mouthfeel. Generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and black plum are followed by some anise, toasty cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Very good power wave with ripe dark cherry, anise, toasty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Delicious drinking now and over the next 3-4 years.
