2011 Amisfield Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a slight tinge of black around the edges and a dark crimson red hue. The nose offers up intense aromas of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise over a background of subtlety toasted oak and spice. Light to medium weight the palate possesses good richness with generous flavours of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise followed by some spicy toasted oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, anise and toasty oak.
Cellar 4-5 years.
