2010 Yalumba The Scribbler Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Shiraz. Opaque black purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose exhibits blackcurrant top notes followed by some liquorice, plum and spicy cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses blackcurrant and liquorice flavours followed by some confectionary and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
