2010 Villa Puccini

Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. The nose opens with strong clove like scents over some underlying toasty cedar, earth and spice. Light weight with clove characters again dominate over some toasty cedar, earth and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of clove, earthy toasty cedar and spice. The clove component is far too dominate and detracts from the wines overall appeal.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
