After whole bunch pressing the grapes, the juice for this wine was split to be fermented separately. 10% was fermented in older French oak barriques using wild yeasts from the vineyard and stirred on lees regularly which contributed to the wines texture and richness. The remaining portion was fermented in stainless steel with a selected yeast strain to maintain the vibrant fruit flavours found in the vineyard.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of ripe pear, musk, confectionary and spice. Rich with a thick luscious texture the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe pear, tropical fruits, musk and confectionary. Clean finish and good depth with long aftertaste of ripe pear, confectionary and musk.
