2010 Tridente Tempranillo

‘A Rich Concentrated Tempranillo that powers through to the long finish’

Superb inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. The nose shows excellent aromatics with lifted dark plum and liquorice scents followed by some black cherry and dark chocolate with underlying spicy toasted oak. Full bodied with a thick densely textured and opulent mouthfeel the palate boasts incredible richness with flavours of black plums, black cherries and liquorice saturating the front palate followed by some dark chocolate, toasty oak and spice on the back palate. Outstanding power and drive with robust, slightly chewy tannins that take on an almost velvet like appearance due to the decadent nature of the fruit. Very long and persistent aftertaste of black plum, liquorice, ripe black cherry, dark chocolate and spicy toasted oak.
