Very seductive, and quite possibly the finest Steading yet.

This convincing Chateauneuf du Pape impersonator is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Opaque black dark red colour with very dark red hue. The nose displays excellent intensity being almost perfumed with aromas of ripe black plum, black cherry, some liquorice, leather, earth and spice. Rich in personality with an opulent plush texture the palate boast mouthfilling flavours of ripe black cherries, black raspberry and black plum that flood the palate followed by some leather and earth nuances and a very spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with very long rich black cherry, black raspberry, leather, earth and spicy peppery aftertaste.

Drink over the next 5-6 years.
