2010 Te Kairanga Martinborough Estate Pinot Noir

This imminently drinkable Pinot Noir underwent 8 months oak maturation. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light dark red hue. Good perfumed lift with scents of dark cherry, plum, toasty oak and spice emanating from the glass. Light to medium weight the palate is very flavoursome delivering dark ripe cherry and plum characters with an overlay of toasty oak and some spice on the back palate. Soft velvety tannins. Good power with long dark ripe cherry, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
