2010 Seabrook The Chairman Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red black hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes are followed by some liquorice allsorts, confectionary and pepper. Bold flavours of liquorice, vanillin confectionary and more subtle blackberries overlay a touch of meatiness with a prominent blackpepper finish. Excellent richness whilst still possessing a relatively elegant cool climate mouthfeel. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long persistent aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin confectionary and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
