2010 Paracombe Shiraz

Matured for 20 months in French oak. Excellent inky black purple colour with a deep very dark purple black tinged hue. Nosing reveals top notes of liquorice, black cherry and blackberry followed by some smoky oak and pepper. Full bodied palate possessing ample richness with flavours of aniseed, black cherry and blackberry over smoky vanillin oak finishing very peppery. Solidly built but fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of aniseed, black cherry, smoky oak and blackpepper.
