2010 Moorooduc Estate Devil Bend Creek Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays lifted dark cherry scents followed by some stalky game like notes and a touch of spice. Light weight but very flavoursome the palate delivers dark cherry, plum, gamey cedar and spice flavours. Good power wave. Very fine grained soft tannins give the wine a supple mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of ripe sweet dark cherry, game and spicy cedar. A youthful, ripe and generously flavoured Pinot Noir.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
