2010 Montara Grampians Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with dark red hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with lifted liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate top notes followed by some toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied with a soft plush mouthfeel the palate has flavours of liquorice and blackberry overlaid with smoky oak finishing with spicy vanilla on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Long liquorice, blackberry, smoky vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
