Located in Tanunda in the Barossa, Linke remains a 5th generation family owned producer. Their two vineyards - the "Stonewell Block" on the western side of the Barossa, and the "Dorrien" which is on the valley floor, consistently produce top notch fruit for renowned labels (including St Hallets and Langmiel, as well as being recognised at Penfolds as a "Top Shelf’ grower). Since 2002, a portion of fruit has been reserved for the family's own label.

A rich luscious Barossa Cabernet that delivers a big mouthful of fruit at the riper end of the spectrum.

Totally opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose exhibits ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and dark chocolate top notes with some trailing cedary tobacco and spice scents. Very full bodied the palate boasts rich concentrated flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark plum followed by some underlying cedar and spice on the back palate. Solid but fine grained tannins generate support for the generous levels of fruit. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, chocolate bullets, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2013-2017).
Alc 15.3%
