2010 Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with a faint tinge of green on the edges and watery hue. Nosing reveals lifted ripe peach scents intermixed with honeycomb and butterscotch followed by some nougat, subtle toast and spice end notes. Medium to full bodied with plenty of richness and vibrancy the palate displays flavours of peach, nectarine and citrus to the fore over a background of dried honey and subtle spicy oak. Clean fresh finish with good acidity. Aftertaste of peach, cashew, light honeycomb and spice.
