2010 Giaconda Estate Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose is a little more subdued than the 2009 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay which was tasted alongside it, with aromas of smoky flint like characters, white peach, toasty oak, biscuit and spice. The palate is not as texturally rich or powerful as the Leeuwin Estate with flavours of white peach, smoky oak, some flinty characters, biscuit and spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of white peach, smoky flint like characters, biscuit and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
