2010 First Drop Minchia Montepulciano

Opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals scented aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice followed by some dark plum, subtle scorched earthiness and spice. Medium to full bodied with abundant richness the palate has generous flavours of black cherries, liquorice, cedar, light earth and spice. Slightly dryish on the finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, earthy cedar and spice.
