2010 Domaine Pichot Vouvray Methode Traditionelle

Made from Chenin Blanc this Sparkling Vouvray has a creamy mousse that quickly concludes to reveal a pale straw base wine that has a very fine bead showing excellent persistence. The nose opens with quite yeasty freshly baked bread notes over some brioche and lightly baked apple. Quite creamy in texture the palate delivers flavours of lightly baked apple, yeasty lees, delicate brioche and citrus. Clean crisp acidity with aftertaste of lightly baked apple, yeast lees and citrus.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
