2009 Te Kairanga Martinborough Estate Pinot Noir

This Pinot was matured for 8 months in oak. Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of dark cherry, dark plum and strawberry followed by some spicy cedar as an end note. Light to medium weight the palate delivers plenty of richness with a good power wave. Supplely textured with flavours of dark cherry, plum, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth soft tannins with medium to long aftertaste of dark cherry, plums and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
