2009 Spring Hill Blewitt Springs Shiraz

Superb impenetrable inky black colour with deep dark crimson black hue. On the nose ripe dark plummy scents are followed by some ripe blackberries and liquorice with underlying spicy vanillin oak. Full and rich with a plush almost luscious textural feel the palate boasts mouthfilling liquorice, black plum and black cherry flavours followed by vanillin oak and pepper. Dryish finish with sturdy fine grained tannins providing the framework for the fruit. Long liquorice, black plum, black cherry and peppery vanillin oak aftertaste.
