2009 Schild Estate Old Bush Vine Grenache Mourvedre Shiraz

A blend of 55% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 20% Shiraz. Deep dark crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of freshly crushed berries lead by a raspberry top note followed by plum juice, cherry and confectionary. Light to medium weight the palate displays generous flavours of ripe plum, raspberry and confectionary with a spicy back palate. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of ripe plum, raspberry and spice.
