This Cabernet saw 2 years in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. Mint infused ripe blackcurrant aromas leap out of the glass followed by some liquorice, subtle dark chocolate and spice. Rich and opulent flavours of succulent ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and mint are in abundance filling every corner of the mouth followed by nuances of liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar. Luscious mouthfeel and superb depth. Velvet smooth yet solidly constructed tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, choc mint and spicy cedar.

The nose displays good intensity with scents of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate overlaid with some spearmint followed by a touch of subtle spicy oak. The palate possesses impressive concentration and mouthfeel delivering flavours of blackcurrant intermixed with choc mint and undertones of cedar and spice. Velvety tannins. Long choc mint, blackcurrant and spicy cedar aftertaste.
