2009 Pizzini Sangiovese

Deep semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark red mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherries, plum and spice with a clove like overlay. Light to medium weight and possessing a soft mouthfeel the palate delivers flavours of dark cherries, dark plum and some spicy meat like earth characters. Dry finish. Very soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, dried meat and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
