2009 Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with deep dark crimson black tinged hue. Perfumed aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum arise from the glass with some underlying vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied but with a sense of refinement the palate features a soft velvety texture with rich mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries, subtle toasty vanillin oak, some light meatiness and peppery earth. Velvet smooth tannins with long liquorice, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak and meaty spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
