2009 Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinge and water like hue. Aromas of lime and spice, followed by some citrus and orange rind end notes, displaying excellent varietal character. Good palate concentration with flavours of lime, citrus and spice dominate, followed by mineral and orange rind back palate flavours. A crisp acid backbone gives the wine a dry, steely, clean finish. Long aftertaste of orange rind, mandarin, lime and spice.
