2009 O'Leary Walker Watervale Riesling

This wine has been produced from 45 year old vines. Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green on the edges and watery hue. Aromas of orange rind and citrus followed by some minerality and lime notes. Flavours of lime and citrus dominate followed by some orange rind on the back palate supported by steely minerality and a crisp acid backbone. Very crisp clean finish. Aftertaste of citrus, lime and mineral. A steely mineral infused Riesling that will develop further complexity with bottle age.
