2009 Mitolo Reiver Shiraz

Saturated inky black colour with deep dark red black hue. The nose offers up lifted scents of ripe dark blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some vanillin confectionary and light pepper. Dense and decadently rich the palate possesses opulent flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum over some subtle vanillin confectionary, toasty oak and spice. Lusciously textured with velvet smooth plush tannins. Excellent depth with long ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
