2009 Knight Granite Hills Merlot

Deep very dark red black tinged colour with a dark red to brick red hue. The nose displays stewed plum and dried prune top notes followed by some cedary new leather and spice. The palate is beginning to dry out with flavours of stewed plum alongside some dried raisins with a spicy old leather background. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of stewed plum, cedar’ leather and spice.
